Acting on the Letter dated on June 25, 2018 of Associate Justice Diosdado M. Peralta, the Supreme Court Resolved to AMEND Sections 2 and 8 of The Revised Rules of Procedures for Small Claims Cases, to read as follows:
SEC.2. Scope. –These Rules shall govern the procedure in actions before the Metropolitan Trial Courts, Municipal Trial Courts in Cities, Municipal Trial Courts and Municipal Circuit Trial Courts for payment of money value where the value of the claim does not exceed Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (P300,000.00) exclusive of interest and costs.

SEC.8. Joinder of Claims. –Plaintiff may join in a single statement of claim one or more separate small claims against a defendant provided that the total amount of claimed, exclusive of interest and costs, does not exceed Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (P300,000.00).

The appropriate Small Claims Forums are also amended to reflect the increased threshold amount of P300,000.00.
Previously the Court en banc issued a resolution dated January 2016, The Revised Rules of Procedure for Small Claims Cases which took effect on February 1, 2016, which set the amount to P200,000.00. The said 2016 resolution amends A.M. No. 08-8-7-SC (Re: Rule of Procedure for Small Claims Cases) issued in November 2000 which set the threshold to P100,000.00.
The latest amendments shall take effect on August 1, 2018 following their publication in two newspapers of general circulation.

Ang tanong ko ay pwede ko bang habulin ang mga tunay na anak na ng exist naman ang title at pasok po ba ako sa small claims na 300,000 pesos.
